Our Story

The Original
Site-X

During World War II, the U.S. government secretly built an entire city in the hills of East Tennessee. It had no name on any public map — only a code designation: Site-X. Oak Ridge was born classified, the hidden home of the Manhattan Project’s uranium enrichment operations, and the thousands of people who lived and worked there didn’t even know what they were building.

That spirit of craft, precision, and doing something remarkable in a small Tennessee town is the soul of Site-X Coffee Roasters. We’re a small batch home roaster right here in Oak Ridge — the city that changed the world, one carefully controlled process at a time.

We don’t brew coffee. We roast the beans. Every small batch is treated with the same attention to detail that built this city — then delivered fresh, directly to you.

Bright and complex — floral and citrus notes with a clean, tea-like finish. For those who want to taste the origin of the bean, not just the roast.

Named for Oak Ridge’s uranium enrichment plant. Balanced and smooth — caramel sweetness, toasted nuts, and a long, warm finish.

Manhattan Dark

Bold, smoky, and unapologetic. Rich dark chocolate, molasses depth, and a full body that commands attention — just like the project that built this city.
